We’ve upgraded our LinkShare Link Lookup plug-in for WordPress. The most significant change is the inclusion of coupon (voucher) link retrieval in the plug-in and also some usability enhancements.
How to use LinkShare Link Lookup:
- Add Link Lookup as a WordPress plug-in. The exact process depends on what version of WP you’re using, but usually you can just search and find the plug-in in the plug-in section in the admin interface
- Activate the plug-in
- Input your LinkShare token in the LinkShare Lookup section of the Admin panel
- Click the red arrows whenever you want to insert some LinkShare links into a post! The drop down will include all Advertisers in the LinkShare Network. Keep in mind you need to be approved into their program to pick up their links.
Here’s a screenshot of what Link Lookup looks like when expanded. First you’ll want to select the right Advertiser from the drop down menu, and then you can either get coupon links, search for product links, or create deep links – all directly from the WordPress posting page!
Please remember that in order to access coupon links you’re account will need to be approved for the Coupon Web Service – apply here.
You can download the latest version from the WordPress plug-in directory here. You can also install plug-ins directly from your WordPress interface by selections ‘Plugins” and then ‘Add New’. Search for LinkShare and Link Lookup will come up in the results.
LinkShare offers two other WordPress plugins as well – RSS DealFeed and AdMix. Use these to syndicate deals and other links from your LinkShare Advertisers on your website.
We hope this makes it easier than ever for you to access targeted LinkShare links!
